When I received the invite for my closest friend’s baby shower, I got busy gathering items for her postpartum. While I love a beautiful linen outfit and wood toy for baby, giving momma something that can shift her heart and mind during postpartum just feels right! I think we often forget that a balance of gifts for baby and momma can be really such a reminder that mommas are seen and loved!

💝 Here’s what I added to my postpartum momma/baby shower gift ⬇️
🧺 Big Basket - these always can be reused for bedside tables during postpartum as a catch all! Eventually they can be reused for toys or snacks once the postpartum journey flows into another chapter.
🧺Cotton Bengkung Belly Binder - absolutely always essential! I always share my YouTube video tutorial too to make it easy to wrap! These are so breathable and cozy for after birth. They also really inspire mommas to create a loving mindset around post birth recovery and self care.
🪻Simple Inspirational Read - nothing too heavy and long. Just a simple read like poems about motherhood to ease an anxious heart. I added some dried florals between the pages of my favorite poems.

💗Cozy Cotton Sweatshirt - something that feels comfy to wear in bed all day and soft enough when snuggling with baby. A cozy new sweatshirt might be the very thing that makes a momma feel seen.
🌟Thoughtful Note - write something that a momma can look back on for many months to come.
🌸Dried Floral Art - something very intentional, it doesn’t have to be piece of art. But make something thoughtful with your hands that perhaps a momma can have on their bedside to remind them of their loving village!
🌷Helpful Baby Gift - I included a natural baby soap and diaper cream since you can never have enough different brands to find the right one for baby!
