Chocolate Chunk Brownie Bites for Postpartum Recovery and Lactation Snacks

One of my favorite protein rich meals to make for postpartum mommas 🫶🏼 so simple to freeze and enjoy later too!
ThIS recipe are completely gluten free/egg free/soy/corn free! 🫶🏼
Ingredients:
¾ cup raw almond butter
5 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup cacao powder
¾ cup rolled oats
pinch of sea salt
12 medium dates, pitted and soaked
½ 70% dark chocolate bar, chopped
Directions:
Start by soaking your pitted dates for 20 minutes in hot water. Assemble all ingredients into a bowl as you wait. Pour soaked dates into a blender with 1 tbsp of the date water. Pulse blender until a date paste is formed. Add paste into bowl with all other ingredients. Use wet hands to shape balls and roll until round. Chop up chocolate bar on a flat surface. Roll each ball into chocolate chunks. Place into freezer for 1 hour to allow the ingredients to set. Enjoy!
